Let's grow green papaya!

We are now accepting reservations for harvesting experiences

Let's grow papayas in Amakusa!

Early summer: plant the seedlings, summer: fertilize and water, autumn: harvest.

Green papaya is highly nutritious, so be sure to give it a try!

Plant the seedlings in May

Each group that participates will be asked to plant one seedling.

*The tour will take place around May depending on the weather and other factors. If there are two or fewer participants, you may be grouped together with other participants.

Look how it's grown

In the latter half of August, check the plant to see how it has grown, then fertilize and water it.

Unnecessary leaves are thinned out and used to make tea.

Harvest the plump fruits from November onwards

Green papaya can be eaten as a vegetable.

*Delays may occur due to weather conditions.

This is a private experience where you can safely harvest freshly picked green papayas in the fields of Amakusa Nokobo Fao. You can enjoy the fresh aroma and the unique appeal of green papayas as a food ingredient with the guidance of the farm owner. Each session is limited to one group, so you can enjoy a relaxing time with your family or friends.
